Introducing ThriveAgric Maize Fertilizer Blend!
Hi farmily,
Context.
Recently, the Federal Government of Nigeria began encouraging the local production of NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium) fertilizers, and to achieve the same goal, the Central Bank of Nigeria added fertilizers to the list of items banned from being eligible for foreign exchange.
For young farmers like ourselves, this could have easily become a nightmare in broad daylight!
But guess what, this news simply birthed innovation from ThriveAgric!

What did we do?
In collaboration with the world's largest and leading fertilizer manufacturer, OCP Group, we launched our maize fertilizer blend early this year, and piloted it in our 2022 wet season farming. Consisting of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Boron (which is actually clay); with the third only being an insignificant amount, our fertilizer blend is designed to maximise growth, yield, and quality.
Yesterday, December 5 was World Soil Day 2022, and the FAO shared some important points about the significance of fertilizers to the soil and ultimately, the nutrients we all need to survive.

We’re excited to see that Nitrogen and Phosphorus are on the essential macronutrients list, while Boron is on that of micronutrients! 😍
What next for us in the fertilizer space?
Keep it locked to find out!
