Introduction
Thrive Agric Limited is a leading agricultural company committed to enhancing sustainable farming practices and promoting food security across Nigeria. We are currently implementing an agroforestry project aimed at improving the resilience of farming communities, enhancing biodiversity, and restoring degraded landscapes.
As part of this initiative, we are seeking qualified suppliers to provide high-quality seedlings for various tree species mango, sweet orange, shear butter tree, ana tree, African locust bean and neem. A total of 85,000 seedlings of the required species is needed for the agroforestry project to be supplied to the project locations which includes Niger state and Kaduna state.
Purpose
This Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) aims to identify potential suppliers capable of providing seedlings that meet our project requirements. Interested suppliers are invited to submit their EOI, demonstrating their capacity to supply, deliver, and support the planting of seedlings in line with our project objectives.
Scope of Supply
The selected supplier(s) will be responsible for:
- Supplying high-quality seedlings of specified species suitable for agroforestry, including but not limited to fruit trees and native trees species as listed above.
- Ensuring seedlings are healthy, disease-free, and meet specified size and age requirements.
- Delivering seedlings to designated project locations within Nigeria.
- Providing after-sales support and technical advice to ensure the successful establishment of seedlings.
Eligibility Criteria
Interested suppliers must meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in seedling supply for agroforestry or related projects.
- Capacity to supply the required quantity of seedlings within the specified time frame.
- Evidence of previous work with similar organizations or projects.
- Compliance with relevant environmental and agricultural standards in Nigeria.
Submission Requirements
Interested suppliers should submit the following documents:
- Company profile, including contact information and relevant experience.
- List of available seedling species, including details on seedling size, age, and quality control measures.
- References from previous clients or projects.
- Estimated delivery time and logistics plan.
- Financial proposal indicating the cost per seedling and any other associated costs.
- Any relevant certifications or licenses.

All EOIs must be submitted via email to samirah.bello@thriveagric.com and oshone.anavhe@thriveagric.com with the subject line: "EOI for Seedlings Supply – Thrive Agric Agroforestry Project" by 10th October 2024.
Evaluation and Selection
EOIs will be evaluated based on the supplier’s experience, capacity, quality of seedlings, financial proposal, and compliance with the specified requirements. Shortlisted suppliers will be invited for further discussions and negotiations.
